Description
Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis) — A beautiful ornamental tree with clusters of pink-purple flowers that bloom along the branches in early spring before the foliage emerges. Its heart-shaped green leaves turn yellow in fall, adding seasonal interest to gardens and landscapes. Ideal as a specimen tree or accent planting, it performs best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Mature size: 6–9 m (20–30 ft) tall × 6–9 m (20–30 ft) wide.
