Description
Fireside® Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'UMNHarpell') — A hardy deciduous shrub prized for its vibrant foliage that emerges fiery orange-red in spring before maturing to deep burgundy tones. Clusters of white flowers with pink accents appear in late spring, creating a beautiful contrast against the colourful foliage. With its upright, rounded habit and attractive peeling bark, Fireside® provides multi-season interest and is an excellent choice for borders, hedges, foundation plantings, and mixed shrub beds. Performs best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Mature size: 1.8–2.4 m (6–8 ft) tall × 1.5–2 m (5–7 ft) wide.
