Quaking Aspen (Populus tremuloides) — A fast-growing deciduous tree with smooth pale bark, delicate round leaves that tremble in the slightest breeze, and brilliant golden-yellow fall colour. Its upright, slender form and distinctive movement create a beautiful natural appearance, making it a popular choice for shelterbelts, naturalized landscapes, and larger properties. Hardy and adaptable, it performs best in full sun with moist, well-drained soil. Mature size: 12–20 m (40–65 ft) tall × 3–6 m (10–20 ft) wide.
