Description
Red Osier Dogwood (Cornus sericea) — A hardy deciduous shrub prized for its brilliant red stems that provide outstanding winter colour after the leaves drop. Clusters of small white flowers appear in late spring to early summer, followed by white berries that attract birds. Its spreading habit and adaptability make it an excellent choice for naturalized plantings, rain gardens, borders, erosion control, and wildlife landscapes. Performs best in full sun to partial shade and tolerates moist soils. Mature size: 1.5–3 m (5–10 ft) tall × 1.5–3 m (5–10 ft) wide.
