Description

Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum) — A classic North American shade tree prized for its strong structure, dense rounded canopy, and spectacular fall colour ranging from yellow and orange to brilliant red. Famous as the source of maple syrup, this long-lived tree is an excellent choice for large landscapes, parks, and naturalized areas. It develops a beautiful symmetrical form with age and provides excellent shade. Performs best in full sun with deep, fertile, well-drained soil.
