Description
Swedish Aspen (Populus tremula 'Erecta') — A unique deciduous tree prized for its extremely narrow, upright columnar form and shimmering foliage. It produces the characteristic rounded leaves of aspen that tremble in the breeze, turning golden-yellow in fall. Its compact footprint makes it an excellent choice for vertical accents, narrow boulevards, screens, and landscapes where space is limited. Hardy and adaptable, it performs best in full sun with moist, well-drained soil. Mature size: 12–18 m (40–60 ft) tall × 2.5–4.5 m (8–15 ft) wide.
