Description
Sweetheart Cherry (Prunus avium 'Sweetheart') — A late-season sweet cherry cultivar known for its large, firm, heart-shaped, bright red fruit with a sweet flavour and excellent eating quality. It produces attractive white spring blossoms, followed by a heavy crop of cherries that ripen late in the season, helping extend the fresh cherry harvest window. Sweetheart is self-fertile and has a productive, upright growth habit. Performs best in full sun with well-drained soil. Mature size: 6–9 m (20–30 ft) tall × 4.5–6 m (15–20 ft) wide.
