Walker’s Low Catmint
Latin Name: Nepeta × faassenii 'Walker's Low'
Description
Walker's Low Catmint (Nepeta × faassenii 'Walker's Low') — A hardy perennial prized for its abundant spikes of lavender-blue flowers that bloom from late spring through summer above fragrant gray-green foliage. Despite its name, this variety forms a broad, mounding habit rather than staying particularly low. Drought tolerant once established and highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, it is an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, edging, and cottage-style landscapes. Performs best in full sun with well-drained soil. Mature size: 45–60 cm (18–24 in.) tall × 60–90 cm (24–36 in.) wide.
