Description
Woods Blue Aster (Symphyotrichum cordifolium 'Woods Blue') — A hardy perennial prized for its masses of delicate lavender-blue flowers with bright yellow centres that bloom from late summer into fall. This upright, clump-forming aster provides valuable late-season colour and is highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Its heart-shaped foliage and reliable flowering habit make it an excellent choice for perennial borders, naturalized plantings, cottage gardens, and pollinator landscapes. Performs best in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Mature size: 60–90 cm (24–36 in.) tall × 45–60 cm (18–24 in.) wide.
